Course Description:
Thoughts are a bit of a tricky thing. They have the magnificent capacity to help us imagine, problem-solve, communicate, and connect. However, our thoughts also have the potential to derail us with worries, ruminations, unhelpful narratives, and misconceptions. The ability to work mindfully with your own thinking can make the difference in how thoughts impact your life. In this session called Working with Thoughts, we will guide you through a number of activities including Noticing Thoughts, Stepping Back from Thoughts, and Detaching from Sticky Thoughts.
By the end of the session, you will have the ability to pause, see your thoughts more clearly, and give yourself space to intentionally choose how to use the incredible power of your mind.
