Course Description:

Stress can get the best of us. Each day, the stress we feel can affect our ability to think clearly, and it can cause us to act, or react, in ways we otherwise wouldn’t. Recent scientific discoveries show that there are clear reasons our stress level impacts our ability to manage ourselves. In this session called, Your Stress Response, you will discover the neuroscience and physiology of how stress impacts your state of mind and actions. Through The Hand Model of the Brain and practices like I am Calm Breathing, you will open the door to understanding and approaching stress in a whole new way. And, by the end of the session, you will see how mindfulness can be a superpower for helping yourself and those around you manage stress more skillfully.
